Holly M. Hohlbein is a collaborative family law attorney who helps make the best resolutions possible for you and your family. She has been guiding clients through the legal system since 1990. Holly focuses her practices in the areas of Cooperative/Collaborative Family Law. Holly is an experienced collaborative attorney with substantial collaborative, mediation and conflict resolution training. She is one of the first collaborative attorneys in the Northwest to stop litigating and focus on collaborative resolution for families. She pioneered the use of collaborative team practice in Washington State. She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and holds or has held leadership positions in various collaborative law organizations including Vice-President of King County Collaborative Law (formerly Washington Collaborative Law and Northwest Collaborative Divorce); Secretary for the Family Law Practice Group of KCCL; and Co-Chair of the King County Bar Association Collaborative Law Section. She is a founding member of other collaborative organizations including Eastside Collaborative Family Law, and the Northwest Institute of Collaborative Practice. She is a trainer, presenter and author on collaborative law and mediation/interest-based negotiations. Holly was featured on Internet radio’s “Wellness Roadshow” broadcast on collaborative divorce.
Holly is a member of family law organizations including the Family Law Sections of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and the East King County Bar Association and Washington Women Lawyers. She is currently or formerly was a volunteer attorney for Eastside Legal Assistance Program, Northwest Women’s Law Center, and Eastside Domestic Violence Program, and was a volunteer mediator for the King County Mediation Program. Holly is a graduate of the University of Colorado; she attended McGeorge School of Law; and graduated from University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1989 with honors. Holly holds a certificate from University of Washington's family law skills training program, and the University of Washington Professional Mediation Training Institute. Holly was trained in advanced negotiations at Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation.
Holly has been a guest expert on KIRO Radio's "Legal Line" and was featured with a client in a KING 5's Evening Magazine story about child support.

Maggie M. Wyer, ParalegalParalegal Marguerite "Maggie" M. Wyer has worked together with Holly since 1996 to assist families in transition work towards their best options. Maggie graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in Florida. She has been employed in the field of law since 1977. She is a former member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the Washington State Paralegal Association. She has extensive experience in the areas of collaborative practice and family law.
